Pioneering sustainability in artistic cement tile production
Secoin Eco Artistic Tiles Corporation – a member of Secoin Group – proudly announces that our factory located in Phu My has officially achieved the EDGE Advanced Certificate, issued by SGS under the World Bank Group (IFC – International Finance Corporation).
This certification recognizes Secoin’s outstanding performance in reducing energy and water consumption, as well as minimizing carbon footprint in materials — a strong commitment toward green production and environmental responsibility.
What is EDGE Advanced?
EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) is a globally recognized green building certification system developed by the World Bank Group. The EDGE Advanced level is awarded to factories that achieve at least 40% energy savings, 20% water savings, and 100% reduction in embodied carbon in materials compared to conventional buildings.
Achieving EDGE Advanced means that Secoin’s terrazzo and cement tile production not only meets international standards for efficiency but also leads in eco-innovation within Vietnam’s building materials industry.
Certified performance of Secoin Eco Artistic Tiles Factory
According to the certification, Secoin’s manufacturing facility demonstrated:

Through optimized machinery, lighting systems, and production processes that reduce energy consumption per square meter of tile produced. - 21% Water Savings
Via efficient water recycling and reuse systems implemented in terrazzo and cement tile manufacturing. - 100% Less Embodied Carbon in Materials
By using natural, local, and recycled materials in terrazzo tiles — minimizing carbon intensity throughout the supply chain.
A step forward for Vietnam’s green building industry
With this certification, Secoin becomes one of the first artistic tile manufacturers in Vietnam to achieve EDGE Advanced, marking a significant step in aligning local craftsmanship with global green standards.
